Another time you want to clear the way for your body to burn fat is when you do a cardio workout in the morning. Do it before you eat any carbohydrates and you will optimize your fat burning potential. If you do eat a bunch of carbohydrates before your cardio workout, your body will simply burn the carbs for fuel instead of your stored body fat.

Bodybuilders must maintain the properly balanced mentality which requires breaks from time to time that allow them to build muscle or reduce fat without added stress.

Most body builders recommend a cheat day approximately once a week. It may be best to only do a few cheat days a month in order to maintain your cutting at the proper levels. However, do not eliminate it completely because it has many benefits and can often speed up fat loss by keeping your body guessing. It is very important to be able to eat junk food every now and then, and then get back your diet, which will help you stay focused on your goal.
